Eligibility

What we are exploring

  • General
    1. Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. No change in claims made in application will be permitted after the last date for submission of application.
    2. Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed IX, X and Diploma in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
    3. Other State candidates who have passed IX, X, XI, XII, Diploma in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.

  • Nativity
    1. Tamil Nadu Native candidates who have passed any of the IX, X, XI, XII, Diploma from the Institutions situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply.They should enclose a copy of Nativity Certificate.
    2. Important :
      1. Tamil Nadu Native candidates alone will be considered for communal reservation.
      2. Others will be considered under "Open Competition" (OC).

  • Qualifying Examination
    1. Candidate should have passed any one of the 3 years Diploma course in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu from an AICTE approved institution or its equivalent.

  • Mode of Study
    1. The mode of Diploma study shall be Full Time (Regular) or Lateral Entry (Regular) or Sandwich or Part Time.
    2. Distance mode of study is not permitted.

  • Year of Qualifying for Diploma
    1. Candidates should have passed the Diploma examination at least One Year before the last date prescribed for submission of application.

  • Age Limit
    1. There is no age limit for seeking admission to B.E. Degree for Working Professionals.

  • Employment
    1. General
      1. Candidates applying for B.E. Degree courses should be working professionals or professionals with atleast One Year of experience.
      2. Candidates should have a minimum of One Year full time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational and / Government, Autonomous Organizations in the relevant field in which admission is sought at the time of admission.
    2. Presently Employed Candidates
      1. Candidates who are employed should satisfy the authorities that they will be in a position to attend the classes in the evening and on holidays and fulfill the requirements regarding attendance laid down by the University.
      2. No person will be admitted to the course if he is working in a place which is at a distance more than 120 kilometers from the college to which he/she seeks admission and the place of working should be in Tamil Nadu.
    3. Presently Unemployed Candidates
      1. Candidates should have atleast One Year of full-time work experience in a registered firm / Company / Industry / Educational and / Government, Autonomous organizations in the relevant field.(Ref: As per G.O. (Ms) No. 75, Higher Education (J2) Department Dated: 18-7-2020).
      2. Distance is not considered in this category.

  • Place of work
    1. No person will be admitted to the course if he/she is working in a place which is at a distance more than 120 kilometers from the college to which he/she seeks admission and the place of working should be in Tamil Nadu.
    2. Distance is not applicable for the unemployed candidates.

    5. Diploma Consolidated Mark Statement / Individual Semester Mark Sheets for the Diploma Examinations
    6. Diploma Degree Certificate
    7. Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
    8. Medical Certificate for Special Reservation (if applicable)
    9. The following Certificates received from the Present Employer
      1. No Objection Certificate
      2. Present Working Experience Certificate
      3. Copy of TNGST / CST / TIN / RC / License Number or Recent Sales Tax Payment Receipt / Recent GST Receipt / Registrar of companies Registration Certificate / Certificate of any Statutory Body
    10. Experience Certificate received from the Previous Employer with copy of TNGST / CST / TIN / RC / License Number or Recent Sales Tax Payment Receipt / Recent GST Receipt / Registrar of companies Registration Certificate / Certificate of any Statutory Body
    11. Salary Certificate or Recent Month Pay Slip
    12. Copy of Visa and Passport Stamp (if any Foreign Experience)
    13. Soft Copy of Passport size Photograph (3.5cm x 4.5cm) and Signature (1.5cm x 2.5cm)

      • Registration Fee for O.C./B.C.M./B.C./M.B.C. & D.N.C. Candidates Rs. 900/-
